    A chara friends and comrades

It was a great day, and my birthday at that, to attend the 100th Anniversary Asgard commemoration on the East Pier at Howth on July 26th. This was a seminal event in what was to come just under two years later. With the very Rising itself in mind I am wondering what plans the IVCO has for 2016?

I am assuming that, as Easter Monday 2016 falls on March 28th, that the centennial events will fall, just like the Asgard commemoration, exactly 100 years later, so that would be on and around Sunday 24th April 2016?

As a member of the IVCO I am looking forward to participating in as many of the events as possible. I am hoping there will be a very sizeable contingent of the IVCO outside the GPO on the big day itself?

    Go raibh maith agat,

    Míceál
