The Annual Commemoration of General Michael Collins and President Arthur Griffith will take place this year on Sunday 21st August 2011.

Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Berkeley Road, Phibsborough, Dublin 7 (near the Mater Hospital) at 10.30 am.

This will be followed by a commemoration ceremony, including a wreath laying and oration at both graves in Glasnevin Cemetery at 12 noon (approx.). Refreshments will also be available following the ceremony in the Visitor Centre.

You are most cordially invited to attend to honour two of Ireland’s most outstanding Leaders and Statesmen.

The Annual BealnaBlath commemoration will be held Sun. August 21st.

The Oration will be delivered by Professor Edward Walsh,
former President of the University of Limerick.

Mr. Tim Pat Coogan will be giving a lecture on Michael Collins on the 25th of August 2011 in the Glasnevin Museum at 7.30pm. The lecture is free and part of Heritage Week. All welcome
