    There is another slight mistake on this as well. Edward Butler was actually born Edmund, most would have know him as Ned or Buckshot Butler.

    He was my grand uncle, anyone have any information on the members locally or phots would be interested in seeing them.

    I also agree with michael cody nothing as bad as wrong spelling of a person surname
    its very annoying it should be erased and the proper spelling put in it place, patrick cody was also my great uncle

    My great-uncle’s name has been spelt incorrectly on the memorial. It should be Patrick Cody, Killaloe and not Patrick Coady, Killaloe

    Hallo,
    Just for the reckord Jim Egan from Poulacapple who played centre back on bloody sunday and got a priest Fr Crotty for Michael Hogan was a brother of Patrick Egan named here. Jim was killed by freestate troops near his home in Poulacapple.
    His Home was a Volunteer headquaters. The final meeting to end the cival war was held at his home. The house is still ocupied by his nice and family. I myself am a grand nephew of Jim Egan.
    Just like to say best wishes to Patrick O Hagan who I met a couple of times and look fordward to meeting again in the future.
