The Irish Volunteers Commemorative Organisation have been signing up people by petition on the “Save Moore Street” campaign. On Saturday, Irish Volunteer members and others met at the GPO in Dublin and signed up 1,000 people. Well done to all concerned. Member Paul Callery led the drive. Below is a message from Paul:

HI MEMBERS. WE WISH TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO JAMES, AMY, PÓL, PHILL, KEN AND ONE TO SHAUN THAT CAME FROM  ENGLAND TO HELP WITH OUR PETITION. SO KIND OF YOU TO COME OUT ON A COLD COLD WET MORNING TO HELP WITH THE VOLUNTEERS SAVE MOORE ST PETITION IN THE FEW HOURS WE WERE ABLE TO GET CLOSE TO 1000 SIGNATURE THAT IS SUPER ON THE DAY THAT IT WAS, THANKS SO MUCH AND TO YOU ALL THAT SIGNED ON LINE THANKS, Paul Callery.
