Michael O’Driscoll IRA 3.rd Cork Brigade

IVCO member Finbarr O’Driscoll has contributed the following documents and photo. They concern Finbarr’s grandfather. Thank you very much Finbarr for sharing this information, it is  an invaluable piece for the IVCO. The photo, my grandfather Michael O’Driscoll is on the left with his brother James who also was involved with the columns with two other brothers also. The photo was taken in 1922, Free state uniforms

    Thanks for posting this, the writing for the bureau is very interesting. My grandfather was also an IRA man named Michael O’Driscoll living in Cork until his departure to England in the fifties. I have a photo I’ll try get posted asap of him and his Brigade sometime in the mid thirties…
