The Irish Volunteers Commemorative Organisation are taking reservations now for exhibitions to commemorate the struggle for Independence ,the “Tan War”,which regained a form of Independence for the twenty six of the thirty two counties.  The centenary of the “Tan War” begins this month, January 2019 and continues in to 2021,approximately two years.

The Irish Volunteers Commemorative Organisation will be exhibiting many many rare artifacts at an event that takes place on Saturday, January 19,2019 .

The exhibition will be at the Andersonstown Social Club (P.D.) Belfast.  Opening 12 noon to 6.pm.

The event is being hosted by the Upper Falls Cultural and Re-enactment Society. This event will commemorate the 100.th anniversary of the meeting of the first Dail and the beginning of the Tan War,January 21,1919.

We will also be covering the Irish Civil war period,1922-1924.
