On April 23, we had a display and exhibit of Irish Volunteer and related items in Cork city. We also had a recruiting stand for the Irish Volunteers Commemorative club.
The event itself was reasonably well attended, given these hard times. We are happy to say that we made a few friends and the reception we received was encouraging. We took on board a few new members and that is always a plus.
The next event we will be at will be at the Curragh Military Show, Kildare, on Sunday, May 8th, 2011. We will have a small display there as this is an outdoor event. Anyone in the area please drop in to us and say hello.
Thanks to all the lads on the panel who turned out – Pat O’Hagan, Padraig O’Ruairc, Gerard MacCarthy, Kevin Cross , Mick Rowley and Garry O’Brien.
Below are some pics we took at the Metropole on Saturday.
