I am presently doing some research into the life of Sean Hogan of Soloheadbeg and Knocklong rescue fame. While many of his exploits, especially with the second flying column are well documented, very little is written about his position in the civil war and subsequently. Any information concerning him that anyone might have, I would be greatful to hear. My Grandfather and his cousin served with him in Ballingarry/ Tullaroan, and always spoke highly of him and held him in high regard.
